A while ago I saw the Polyphonic Spree perform on Austin City Limits. The lead singer guy kinda looked like Rey.

He also had longish hair and was wearing a brightly colored caftan, and singing about fucking rainbows or something.

So don't worry Rey, even though you have changed your hippy ways, your long-lost hippy brother is still out there keeping the "vibe" alive.

You can hate on Rey for being a former pretty-boy hippy all you want. But Misha, Trey, I remember your fucking ponytails boys.
Besides, can anyone who has worked a Renaissance Faire or been to Burning Man really claim they are all that adverse to a hippy here and there?
I mean, yeah they smell weird. They hassle you about eating meat. They smoke your weed and then try to tell you about what a great band Phish was. And they have a tendency to join your tribe and then talk shit about your friends and their former hairstyles.
But is that really so bad? C'mon people now, smile on your brother, everybody get together, try to love one another right now.

When I was 15 I would have been all over Rey!! What a cutie pie hippie boy. Of course, I had dreadlocks with beads in them, wore long tiedye skirts and listened to the Dead, Zeppelin, the Doors and Phish all the time at the point too...
Sometimes I miss those days. Anyone with me? I wanna go sleep on the beach in Santa Cruz, wake up, smoke a bowl and go surfing. <sigh>

Few of us could every believe those days would part of the past and seldomly part of today. Of coprse my favorite was the great music,.. we had Grateful dead then owuld play Metallica nd then follow up with Pink Floyd and continue with some Zeppelin then to NWA and some Red Hot Chili Peppers.
So in ode ot those days gone past I rasie my Brown cow and tip it back with some apple suace and a nhand full of sprouted wheat berries.
